Sick Visits
When your child is sick, take comfort knowing they are in good hands. Our staff realizes how hard it is to have a sick child at home. We make sick care appointments available each day to allow your child, whenever possible, to be seen the day you are worried.
If your child is ill and needs to be seen, please call our office to schedule an appointment at (814) 266-8840.
When you call, you may be connected with our triage nurse, who will ask a few questions to better understand your child’s symptoms. This helps us prepare for your visit and prioritize appointments based on urgency.
Whenever possible, we encourage you to avoid urgent care centers. Many do not have providers specifically trained in pediatrics, and we believe your child will receive the highest quality care from the providers who know them best.
We provide testing in our office for many pediatric illnesses, including:
- Rapid Strep testing
- Influenza testing
- RSV testing
- COVID-19 testing
- Monospot
- Lyme disease testing
- Pulse oximetry
- Urinalysis
- Hemoglobin testing
- Wound cultures
